Usually I try to write a story and tell the tale of my hike, but yesterdays pictures from the Brumley Mountain Trail do the story justice. The BMT better known for the Great Channels of Virginia are a maze of sandstone boulders about two acres wide strung across the mountain on the Washington/Russell county line. It's about a seven mile round trip hike and the first half is pretty strenuous, I've done the work so you don't have to, so sit back and enjoy the pictures... and PS- happy trails!
